About Lloyd TVs
Lloyd TVs come with the promise of 'Better and Smarter Viewing'. From crystal clear images to theatre-like sound right at your home, Lloyd TVs are tantamount of quality. This explains why so many, not just in India, but also elsewhere, bestow their trust and confidence upon the innovative TVs.
Lloyd TVs Promise 'Better and Smarter Viewing' for Indian Consumers
Lloyd TVs have brought about a smile of satisfaction on faces of millions of customers around the globe. By producing smart TVs for their smart customers, the company endeavors to take television viewing experience a notch higher.
With impeccable A-grade panels, 3D digital comb filters, wide-angle viewing, and PC- sync features, they surely serve justice to their acquired repute.
How It All Started
Lloyd carves a niche across Indian regions with its quality standards. Laying its foundations in India back in 2011, they label themselves as one of the pioneers in the air conditioning category. However, their mission was to be included amongst the top preferable brand, firstly in India and then, eventually into the global consumer market.
Promising to make every home happier, they started manufacturing their technologically advanced and aesthetically appealing LED TVs.
In words of their CEO, "Not just in India, but also elsewhere, the consumer business is always the mainstay for revenue generation. More so in 2 categories, ACs and TVs! Our new-age ensembling LEDs surely will help us take the next big step towards expansion."
With their upscale Lloyd TVs, in this short span of time, they have come a long way captivating their target audience.
Number of Official Stores and Service Centres
Lloyd consists of numerous direct and indirect retail networks. However, since Havells acquired the consumer bid of Lloyd Electric & Engineering for an enterprise value of Rs 1600 crore, the popularity of Lloyd TVs, as well as other consumer products, surged drastically.
Presently as it stands, there are around 10,000 plus direct and indirect company-owned retail shops. Furthermore, there are more than 31 company service centres and over 480 retail outlets in different parts of India.
With so much reach and accessibility of Lloyd TVs and other intuitive appliances, the company now holds a much stronger consumer connection.
Impressive Brand Acceptance
The best thing about Lloyd TV is its theatre-like viewing at cost-convenient rates. This has been the main reasons why the brand enjoys such a formidable consumer loyalty in today's time.
Moreover, its 4K UHD display, in-built Wi-Fi, LAN and LINUX support, screen mirroring and 5 years warranty, all account for other impressive USP characteristics of Lloyd TVs.
Stats show that from the financial year of 2012 – 2016, Lloyd TVs (with its others) sales percentage grew from 20% - 59%. Plus, during this period, their annualised growth was around 27.2% which in terms of capital was Rs 2382 crore.
In 2017, the company did face a few hiccups along their road. However, in words of Anita Kakar, Secretary, Lloyd Electric & Engineering, "We Will Try to Address These Issues ASAP."
Many new Lloyd TVs line up for consumers and with this, the company will be looking to target a better finish to FY 2017.
