The History of Lenovo Ideapad series
In year 2011, Lenovo first entered the tablets segment and released a total of three models in the Ideapad tablet series within the same year. These were the IdeaPad K1 tablet that was publicized in July, the Ideapad A1, which was publicized in September and the IdeaPad P1 that featured Windows 7 as a replacement for the Android Honeycomb OS version. Many more tablet models hit the market after this, with Lenovo also launching two separate series, the IdeaTab and Yoga tablet series.

Design of Lenovo Ideapad series
The Lenovo Ideapad series come with 7 to 10.1 inch screen sizes. They are tough capacitive multi touchscreen TFT and LCD displays with IPS technology. Moreover, they provide a comfortable grip and the models are also good for e-book reading. The tablets are very attractive and lightweight as well, owing mainly to the quality of the plastic build. That also contributes to the quality of grip it provides.

Features of Lenovo Ideapad series
The Ideapad tablets run on a number of Android OS's like Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, KitKat and Lollipop. On certain models, Windows 7/8.1 operating systems are also available. They are generally powered by Intel Atom and MediaTek processors along with a 1GB/2GB of RAM. They are supported with Mali or Power VR graphics processing units as well. These Ideapad's come with a minimum of 4GB internal flash memory along with support for a micro-SD card. Therefore, you are unlikely to run out of storage options.
The Ideapad series tablets are available with an autofocus back camera which is capable of recording videos as well. some models come with a front facing camera that is ideal for video calling. In addition, these cameras offer digital zoom functionality. Some models feature an ambient light sensor, an accelerometer, and also an proximity sensor.
For multimedia, the Ideapad come with integrated Dolby speakers with surround sound along with a 3.5mm audio jack. This provides a stereo effect and is useful especially while watching movies, playing games or listening to music. Also, the models can connect to wireless speakers via Bluetooth.
