About Lenovo Tablets
Lenovo is a multinational technology brand that is largely associated with desktop PCs and laptops. However, of late, the company has started to diversify its product range, with expansions into the tablet and smartphone market.
History of Lenovo Tablets
Lenovo’s entry into the tablet markets was marked with the release of three IdeaPad tablets in 2011. These models were the IdeaPad K1, A1 and P1. Besides these, it had also launched other tablets, such as the ThinkPad and some LePad models. These tablets mostly ran Android or Windows. The IdeaTab and IdeaPad models can even be found to date.
Lenovo also took another dive into the market with the launch of the Yoga Tablet lineup. This was introduced in 2013 and has already seen two iterations. The Mixx and A series tablets are also noteworthy options.

Lenovo is a reputed computer technology and most of its products are very well received. In fact, many Indian customers prefer Lenovo because it is such an established brand in the desktop and laptop market.
Lenovo’s tablets are mostly priced very affordably, something that syncs with the common Indian buyer. Also, they still boast of numerous modern features that can found in other tablets too. Hence, it can be said that the company’s tablet products stand out and is largely popular.
Design of Lenovo Tablets
Most of Lenovo’s tablets have a slate-type rectangular form factor. The Yoga Tablets offer a hinge at one side and also a stand for support. The tablets mostly come with plastic build and are pretty light to hold and carry.
Screen sizes for these tablets largely differ as per the model. However, the standard sizes are 7, 8, 10 and 13 inches. The screens are based on IPS LCD technology and also boast of high definition or higher quality resolution. Most of the models also have Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
The Yoga Tablets supports four modes of usage. One can hold it, use the kickstand, hang it or even tilt as per convenience. Color options vary and are largely black or silver.
Features of Lenovo Tablets
As already mentioned, Lenovo’s tablets fairly stand out when it comes to features offered by them.
Almost all Lenovo tablets make use of Qualcomm Snapdragon, Intel Atom or MediaTek processors for operations. In addition, these tablets have up to 2GB, which is good enough to run all basic applications. Plenty of internal storage space is available in these laptops and that is mostly between 4GB and 32GB. Storage can also be expanded up to as much as 128GB via an external micro-SD card.
All tablets come equipped with rear cameras and some on the front. These are capable of taking fine quality shots and videos alike. The resolution, however, differs between the various models of tablets.
For connectivity, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are two of the most common options available. Also, most tablets from Lenovo have SIM connectivity and support 3G/4G bands. Also, one can bank on USB and tethering. Stereo speakers are available on most of the tablets. One can also use Bluetooth to connect to external speakers for better sound.
Tablets from Lenovo are known to come with different Android versions and also a few of them with Windows. Apps can be additionally downloaded as per the requirements of the user.
The tablets are powered by Li-ion batteries and also provide good number of usage hours on a single charge.
