About HP Tablets

Summary

Aiming to thrive in the growing competition of assembled and individual computer hardware, HP provides software and IT solutions to business ventures worldwide. HP tablets boast of packing the best components for regular operations. Customer satisfaction is maximised owing to their lightweight and advanced, user-friendly options.

HP Tablets Storms into the Indian Market with their ElitePad Tablet Range

Since its emergence in 1939, Hewlett Packard has come up as a leading hardware and software service provider. To team this up, HP also offers IT services to large and medium-sized industries. But consumers know HP as a leading brand selling high-quality laptop and desktop computers along with mobile phones and even HP tablets. What started as a mere computer hardware manufacturer rose to fame pretty soon owing to the credibility and scalability of its products.

A Century of Perfection and Customer Satisfaction

HP is the byproduct of an amalgamation of electrical engineer's ideas to build audio oscillator in a car garage. It was only in 1939 that the founders started their venture and by 1947 their company came into real existence. From incandescent light bulbs and stabilising oscillators, HP continued its production.

Considered to be one of the symbolic founding members of Silicon Valley, HP grew to fame with their tie up with Walt Disney and Sony. Their semiconductors had a simple yet costly design which compelled them to shift to Intel based x86 register structures.

By 1970's, HP introduced its ASCII terminals while their F-Series Microcoded Scientific Instruction Set transformed their scalability. Fast forward 40 years from then, 2011 saw the introduction of HP tablets running with webOS. After a brief discontinuation due to software issues, HP reintroduced them later.

Acceptance in the Global Scene

After shifting away from their manufacturing garage in 1940, HP took 7 years to get incorporated and go public in 1957. Their profit margin was so large that they soon featured on NYSE in 1961. Their contribution to Silicon Valley helped them deliver their attention to China in 1980s. By 1993, HP had already sold 10 million LaserJet printers. Since its first launch in 2011, HP's multitasking TouchPad has let users perform basic functions as a substitute to laptops. Very soon they claimed to make more than 200 web apps for HP tablets users.

HP Official Stores

Most major nations worldwide have a plethora of HP stores distributed in different parts of these countries. While the European nations appear to be the company's leading frontier, India is not far behind with close to 340 official dealerships.

These outlets are located all over this Indian subcontinent and cater to every segment of HP tablets and its accessories.

HP in the Indian Scene

With the rise in popularity of IBM and Microsoft desktop computers and embedded structured systems, HP spread its wings in India by 2000s. With an aim to occupy a major portion of the Indian market, HP desktops and laptop computers flooded this subcontinent.

Aiming to provide excessive attention to detail, HP Business solutions aids in structuring the Indian backbone of India's IT industry. HP tablets come with its range of ElitePro and Pro Tablet in India. Packed with Intel atom processor and 3G connectivity, they are one of the best sellers.
