nubia's new smartphone model reaches Geekbench: Indicates its Launch to be soon

The surprise listing of the NX591J device on Geekbench grabbed attention. This device is considered to be the successor to the nubia Z17 and is referred to as the nubia Z17 Lite. It seems that nubia is planning to take the features from the Z17 and incorporate them to the Z17 Lite. But despite its appearance on Geekbench, there are still no words from nubia about the said device.

A nubia device with model number NX591J has been listed on the Geekbench website recently. It's regarded as the nubia Z17 Lite handset, that runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. It has 6GB RAM and runs on Snapdragon 617 chipset clocked at 1.4 GHz octa-core.

The Z17 smartphone in comparison to its Lite version (NX591J), had more endearing specs. Their differences are spotted, and much talked about in the smartphone market. For example, the ZTE nubia Z17 has a dual camera setup at the rear of the phone, on the other hand, the Lite version shall spot a single rear camera only. Plus an addition of the 3.5mm headphone jack in this device is much anticipated. The regular features of the nubia Z17 like, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth and dual-band WiFi might be kept intact in the Lite version too.

The similar scenario was with LG, that launched versions of its LG GS model. The new models are released after seeing the success rate of their predecessors. The key is to respond to the requirements of the mid-segment smartphone buyers in the age of high-end technology based on mobile phones. The market is huge, needless to emphasize, which can be seen with the increased sales of smartphones, now be it for IT giants, like Samsung and Apple or the brimming Vivo and Xiaomi.

An official announcement of the nubia Z17 Lite is expected to be out soon. Until that is made, it is clear that the comparisons of the Lite version with the actual Z17 smartphone shall not stop.
