History of iBall
With just a mouse in the market, iBall commenced operations in September 2001. However, by 2011, iBall had 21 various kinds of products. Design of iBall Andi series
The Andi series of phones have been smartly crafted with striking aspects at very reasonable prices. Every iBall Andi series of smartphones supports a combination of powerful aspects that will clearly leave you in admiration. With its design, feature and price tag, the iBall Andi series of smartphone are definitely a bargain to buy.
The screen sizes are 4.0 inches and higher with IPS, OGS LCD multi touch displays. They are protected with Corning Gorilla Glass in order to avoid scratches. These devices are available in rich colours such as white, blue, red, pink, yellow, black, milky silver and wine with chrome finishes. in some phones, the back covers are susceptible to touches and can recognize gestures.
Features of iBall Andi
The phones in the Andi series are generally powered by MediaTek chipsets and Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon chipsets. The newer phones also feature a minimum of 1GB of RAM, which allows you to run things smoothly. These phones come with a minimum internal memory of 512MB and go upwards. depending on the model, with a micro-SD card these can be extended up to 32GB.
The main advantage of these iBall Andi series of touchscreen smartphones are its software platforms. They generally run on the latest Windows Phone v8.1 OS and Android versions such as the Jelly Bean, Ice Cream Sandwich, Lollipop and KitKat. Plus they also come with pre-installed MS Office apps, OneDrive, Xbox, and Bing search.
Usually these devices are available with a minimum of 2MP autofocus back camera and a 0.3MP front camera especially for taking selfies and video calling. The higher-end devices come with cameras that have 8MP and 5MP, for the front and the rear. The cameras also support geo-tagging, BSI sensor, face detection, f/2.0 aperture, HDR and smile shot. They can shoot full HD movies at 30fps as well. In addition, the cameras offer sharp pictures from wide angles of a maximum of 88 degrees.
The iBall Andi series support Wi-Fi, 3G with dual SIM support, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, GPRS, EDGE and FM. Other features such as proximity sensor, capacitive multi touchscreen display, gyroscope, accelerometer and ambient light sensor are also available.
Battery usually ranges from 1300mAh to 4000mAH Li-ion type. These phones also support 15 Indian languages, besides 22 international languages as well.
By launching the Slide O900-C, a latest Android tablet has been added to iBall’s Slide range. The slate offers voice calling function with dual SIM slots. It will be available across India in early August.
With a price tag of Rs 12,999, it can be purchased from main brick and mortar shops and via e-commerce portals as well.
