History of Sharp Mobile Phones
Sharp came into existence in the year 1912, as a metal workshop based in Tokyo. A mechanical pencil was its specialty before the company stressed in making the first generation of radio sets. The company’s entry into the mobile phone business happened around 2000. It released the world’s first commercial camera phone as well. Gradually, from the mid-2000s, Sharp has become the largest phone maker in Japan and faces competition from the likes of Sony, Apple, and Fujitsu. Popularity in India
