OPPO Electronics Corporation is a Chinese electronics company that is mostly known for its range of smartphones. Although the company manufacturers other electronics products, it was pretty unknown to most until it burst into the scene with Android smartphones. History of Oppo Mobile Phones
As a company, Oppo was found in 2004 and began to manufacture smartphones much later. Its first release came about in the year 2008. However, Oppo first Android smartphone were the Ulike and Find devices, released in 2012.
Oppo then released many smartphones and still does so. Some of the company’s notable devices are the Finder, Find 5, Ulike2, R610, N1, Neo 5, R7 Plus, and R7 Lite.

In fact, Oppo’s smartphones have been marketed in many of the Asian countries and have been well received. The company branding also lies at the back. Owing to its construction, Oppo phones are largely light in weight and appear to be slim.
The screen on Oppo phones happen to be of various different sizes and also come with different technologies in terms of construction. One can find phones using both, IPS LCD and AMOLED displays. Many of these devices are also known to have HD displays, with hardened glass for protection. Oppo’s screen quality is pretty decent for most of its phones.

Features of Oppo Mobile Phones
Oppo’s smartphone models are powered by MediaTek and Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. Alongside, they feature up to 2GB of RAM for the higher priced devices. Internal storage is available in the form of flash storage and is usually capped at 16GB. They also have an additional micro-SD card slot.
For most phones, there front and rear cameras present. And LED flash also accompanies the rear cameras, along with a host of other features such as various modes, autofocus, face detection and more.
When it comes to connectivity on these devices, there is support for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, micro USB and cellular connectivity for dual SIMs. They have support for 3G/4G for most of the models, along with GPS support. Sensors such as proximity, accelerometer and compass are also present on these devices. One can also find external speakers and a headphone jack as well.
Oppo devices were known to run stock Android versions till 2012. From 2013 onwards, the phones were loaded with ColorOS which is based in Android. They are known to feature some useful apps.
Phones run on Li-ion batteries and can provide a good amount of usage hours.
