About JIVI Mobile Phones

JIVI mobile phones

JIVI mobile phones are the birth child of Magicon Impex LTD- a manufacturer and distributor of different handset brands and innovative services. Focusing on their consumer spectrum, JIVI aims to expand its cellular handsets in India and eventually spread out its wings into the global domain.

JIVI Mobile Phones: Expanding into the Indian market with low-cost handsets

JIVI mobile phones consist of a sizeable Indian consumer base. Ever since 2016 when they started their manufacturing units in India, they are aiming for scalability in every corner or nook. The company caters to each consumer niche ranging from entry level bars to FM sets and reaching to upscale 3G and 4G LTE Android smart cells.

Snapshot of their Journey till now

Though JIVI mobile phones came into existence in 2011, the seeds of creating innovation were laid down in 2004 in China and Hong-Kong.

Magicon Impex PVT LTD, primarily a manufacturer and production house of smart products and services wanted to offer their rich vein of consumers something which was 'Rich on features and Great Value for Money.'

This came in 2011 when a new wave of intuitive and simple to use JIVI handsets made its introduction amongst the Indian populaces. A year later they brought about their own series of Android handsets and tabs and collaborated with big providers- Aircel and BSNL.

In 2013, JIVI launched their exclusive CDMA sets for Reliance and TATA. And in 2014, their India Smart Series aimed to promote PM's Digital India Initiative shatters all price barriers at Rs.1999. Their big break came however in 2016 when they successfully set up their manufacturing unit in India.

Global expansion| PAN India stores and service centers

Aiming to fulfill their code- 'Manufactured in India but used globally,' JIVI strived to ensure high-end service centers and official stores in every sect of the country. Numbers reveal an impressive 550 service centers PAN India.

They even consist of around 20 branch offices, 533 distributors and 25,000 dealers in their belt and have expanded their reach to foreign territories namely- China, Dubai, Hong-Kong, Africa, USA, Sri-Lanka, Myanmar, and Indonesia.

Existing Status

JIVI mobiles' rise in sales is due to their affordable range of highly functional handsets. The reason Anand states- it is because the Chinese are giving a formidable competition in handsets which come at the cost of Rs. 5000 (give or take).

As per the 2016 status, their Delhi assembly unit churns out around 3-3.5 Lakhs handsets each month. A figure which their CEO promises to be better in 2017 and onwards!

Steps to meet needs of Millions in India

JIVI mobile phones, in trying to keep up the rising demand of customers, extended its product portfolio. An array of new mobiles hosting superior speakers, Corning gorilla glass, LED with USB came out in 2016 to meet the needs of millions. 4 of those popular ones include- N2100 @1249, N444 @ Rs 1349, AI3 @ Rs. 2999 and BoomBox @ Rs. 1499.

CEO Pankaj Anand of JIVI mobiles further states; 'It's a pleasure to associate with Irrfan Khan who will carry the image of our company to every common consumer.'

Moreover as a medium to substantiate their reach in the Indian market, JIVI mobile phones are also set to invest Rs. 200 crore for a new manufacturing unit in Lonavala. Their production limit per month stands at Rs. 5 Lakhs as of now.
