Fujifilm debuts the portable instax SHARE SP-3 SQ printer for USD 200 (around Rs 13K)
Fujifilm recently launched its newest compact mobile printer, the instax SHARE SP-3 SQ. The device carries a price tag of USD 200 (around Rs 13,000) and will start hitting the market shelves next month, in November.
Fujifilm, one of the pioneering camera companies, knows that for a tech firm to stay in the race, it has to ride on the current trend. Well, the trend nowadays is all about mobile photography where you will only need a smartphone in capturing moments and sharing it with the world through your social media accounts. It might not be all that common now to print these photos when you can just post it, right? However, Fujifilm made a product which might change your mind. The device in question is the instax SHARE SP-3 SQ, a square-format portable printer designed for use with smartphones.
How will the portable printer work? You will just have to pair it with your iOS or Android phone and with the help of Fujifilm's SHARE app, you can start printing photos. You can choose to print a new picture, a shot from your gallery, or grab something from your social media accounts such as Facebook and Instagram. After that, you have to wait for 13 seconds for the printer to finish printing your images. Furthermore, the Instax SHARE SP-3 SQ uses an instant film that measures 86 x 72 mm with the actual picture portion measuring 62 mm square.
Also, what's interesting about the device is its SHARE app mentioned earlier. Using the app, you can print a single image or make a collage of up to 9 images. It also has black and white as well as sepia filters. You can also create your own by adjusting the brightness, contrast, and saturation according to your style. You can also choose from the 11 templates and add text or emoji below the prints. The built-in battery of the SP-3 SQ can last up to 160 prints. The compact mobile printer costs USD 200 (around Rs 13,000) while you must purchase the instax Square Film separately for USD 17 (around Rs 1,100). The whole package will start to be available in November.
