Other than Gurgaon, the Manesar and Gujarat manufacturing plant constitute a total maximum output of above 1,700,000 units. With Suzuki still holding the majority shares, manufacturing uses near 70% of indigenous products and raw. International exports include markets such as Australia.

Maruti as Brand India:

Starting off with financial and institutional backing from the government, Maruti with Suzuki's know-how was a perfect combination. Entering into an economically growing market with near to zero competition, this was a profitable venture for both parties.

But more than that, for the Indian consumers, Maruti was a brand which was essentially Indian. Starting from their 800 model, their primary motive was to provide consumers with a motion on 4-wheels along with every single basic necessity. Exceptional build quality thanks to Japanese work culture was the primary reason behind their increasing sales and prospects.

Maruti Suzuki cars future Indian market prospects:

The Indian market continues to be the mainstay for these manufacturers despite increasing on exports. This Indian automobile market itself rates as one of the fastest growing markets around. Other than Maruti Suzuki cars holding more than 45% of the market share, these manufacturers have one of the largest sales networks with more than 1820 outlets across nearly 1500 locations.
