A Royal History

With BL falling into economic turmoil, Land Rover falls under British Aerospace ownership while still functioning as a separate Rover Company arm.
1994 sees BMW buying the whole of the Rover group while selling Land Rover to Ford. Today, Land Rover cars are part of Jaguar Land Rover or JLR conglomerate under Tata ownership since 2008.
