History of Force Motors

Force Motors is a part of the Firodia Group founded back in 1958. It was founded by N. K. Firodia, a freedom fighter back in the day. He is also credited with coining a common word to describe small vans and matadors used for transporting people and/or goods - Tempo!

In 10 years' time, the company was testing and assembling engines for all Mercedes cars in India. Force Motors since then holds the unique distinction of supplying over 60,000 engines and axles. In 2003, the company signed an agreement with MAN to come up with their line of MANFORCE Trucks.

In another decade's time, the company got a contract from BMW to manufacture the engines of BMW cars and all SUVs in India.
