HTC U 11 will not have a headphone jack; an Adapter instead
The HTC flagship model, HTC U 11 that is up for launch in Taipei on 16th May this year has a new revelation by LlabTooFeR, that the handset will have a USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter inside the box. The smartphone comes with a 5.5-inches QHD display protected by Gorilla Glass 5. It shall be interesting to see the response the handset gets from the consumers upon its release.
A recent leak by a popular HTC leaker LlabTooFeR, reveals that the upcoming model of HTC, the U 11 flagship will come with a USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter inside the box. It was only revealed recently that the handset will lack a headphone jack. But the presence of the adapter shall give freedom to the consumers; to use their preferred pair of wired headphones. The smartphone that is up for launch in Taipei on 16th May will also interpret gestures based on swipes, application of pressure, taps, etc.
According to the previous round of leaks, the smartphone will run on the Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) operating system, have a battery of 3,000 mAh and Snapdragon 835 Chipset, with 4GB or 8GB RAM . The storage options are of 64GB and 128GB respectively, along with a Universal Fast Storage. It will sport a 5.5-inches Quad High Definition (2560x1440 pixels) display, protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The front shooter camera will be of 16 megapixels and the back camera will be 12 MP, f/1.7 coming with OIS and HTC's "UltraSpeed AF" and "UltraPixel 3" branding.
Now, the eyes are engrossed towards the launch of the handset in the coming days; to get a refined clarity over the intentions of HTC that has brought together extensive features in the HTC U 11.
