Micromax, based in Gurgaon, India, happens to be the biggest Indian smartphone brand and also offers some of the most exciting budget oriented smartphones. While it caters to a number of segments in the electronics market, it is most notable for its feature and Android smartphones.
History of Micromax mobiles

As for its Android touchscreen phones, the screen size varies, but mostly features either of the IPS / AMOLED LCD. These phones usually have a dual/quad/octa-core processor, either of MediaTek/Snapdragon make. Coupled with ample amount of RAM, they are known to offer speedy execution. Internal memory provided is either 4/8GB, with scope for adding a MicroSDcard.

In addition, the camera supports various modes, allows tweaking of photos, and has autofocus feature and more.
As far as connectivity options are concerned, the phones support wireless connectivity via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Dual SIM support is available with 2G/3G support. Many of the latest releases are also 4G enabled. As with all phones, GPS support is also available on Micromax phones.
Micromax supplies Li-ion batteries with its phones. These are known to last a day with an average amount of usage. Batteries in the feature phones provide power for a lot longer than a day.
