History of Xiaomi Mi series
Back in August 2011, the Xiaomi Mi1 smartphone was the first in the Mi series to be revealed. This model was packed with Xiaomi’s own MIUI, a user interface that runs atop the Android mobile operating system. Xiaomi then publicized its Mi2 smartphone a year later. This was followed by the Mi3 handset with the Snapdragon and NVIDIA’s Tegra processors. At this point of time, it also happened to be the fastest Android smartphone in the world.
The Xiaomi Mi4 is the latest in the series that comes in 16GB and 32GB variants. This Mi series has been Xiaomi’s flagship mobile phone series up to date. A budget flagship Mi4i was also launched in India and arrived in 16GB and 32GB variants in May.
