M-Tech is primarily a mobile manufacturing brand that has its headquarters in Delhi, India. The company, although relatively new in the market, has been able to capture a pretty decent market with its extremely low cost feature phones and affordably priced smartphones. It also has its manufacturing plant and R&D center in India.
History of M-Tech Mobile Phones
M-Tech beginnings date back to the year 2010, which means that the company is a relatively new brand in the market for mobiles. However, despite its little experience, the company over the last few years has managed to expand rapidly.
At present, the company claims to have almost 20,000 retailers selling its devices, along with many distribution centers. Besides capturing market in the country, it has also been exporting cell phones to India’s neighbor, Nepal. M-Tech has a pretty rich portfolio of products, be it PDAs, smartphones or basic feature phones.
Popularity in India
Despite being a very crowded mobile phone market, India’s demands for phones never seem to be dropping. To counter this, there have been several players, both foreign and local, in the market. M-Tech is among the local manufacturers that have also hogged the limelight or its low priced, but quality devices.
The company mobile phone range serves the low end of the market, with basic phone offerings being very cheap. This aptly suits plenty of people, mostly those living is rural areas with seemingly less connectivity. Also, M-Tech has tied up with plenty of retailers and has around 500 service centers located around the country.
Design of M-Tech Mobile Phones
M-Tech’s design aspect of its mobile phones is praiseworthy. Despite the low cost of these devices, they are known to feature attractive looks. All of the company’s phones have a bar type form and come with alphanumeric keypads or touchscreens.
The feature phones mainly have a keypad and small screen. Touchscreen phones are rather different and have a larger screen with good display options. IPS LCD screens are generally offered here and very often they happen to be HD/FHD ones.
The material make of the phones is mostly polycarbonate plastic. This assures that the devices are light and easy to use. Color options are also numerous for these devices and they also feature the branding.
Features of M-Tech Mobile Phones

When it comes to connectivity, the basic feature phones rely on dual SIM networks, GPS, Bluetooth and micro-USB. For smartphones, many of them also support 3G networks and Wi-Fi additionally. All phones have audio speakers and a 3.5mm universal audio jack as well. The android devices are also known to have sensors that allow them to have certain functionalities too.
As for the battery on M-Tech phones, Li-ion ones are the obvious choice and they also provide good usage hours on a charge.
