The alleged Moto X 2017 name confirmed as Moto X4
The Moto X 2017 is one of the smartphone which is said to be launched by Motorola as an upgrade to the X series this year. The company is supposedly naming the smartphone as the Moto X4. The name was revealed on Twitter by a well known tipster Evan Blass. The smartphone is the one of the most awaited smartphone in the premium lower-end segment.
Motorola mobility owned by Lenovo has been revamping its smartphone segments with upgrades. With the launch of the Moto G5 and the Moto G5 Plus, it upgraded its mid-range segment. The lower-end upgrade of the E series called the Moto E4 will be launched soon. For the first time the company is set to introduce the Moto C series for Moto users. The company is now ready to upgrade the premium mid-range segment, the X series which includes the Moto X (2017).
A well known tipster Evan Blass, recently revealed the potential name for the upgrade of the Moto X line-up. He quoted on twitter "Let's stop calling it Moto X 2017, eh?" and mentioned its name "Moto X4".
The smartphone is a new upgrade for the X series line-up which stands below the premium Z series. The smartphone will have a 5.5-inches display, it will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core SoC. The device will be supported by 4GB RAM and have 64GB internal storage. It will have a 3,800 mAh battery which will be supported by fast charging. The smartphone is assumed to be IP68 certified making it water and dust resistance. It will also have a fingerprint scanner. It is expected to have a dual camera setup with 13MP sensor and also have dual-LED flash and laser auto focus.
