Is this the concept image of an "all-glass" iPhone 8?
Just after the rumors that Apple will be introducing an "all-glass" iPhone in 2017, Many have been fascinating on what the rumored iPhone 8 might look like. Here are some concept images of what many believes to be what the "all-glass" iPhone might become.
Leaks, revelation and surmising are all part and parcel of the mobile industry no matter how cagey a company is. Even Apple finds it difficult to put things under wraps before the launch of every flagship. Since KGI's Ming-Chi-Kuo has spilled the beans about Apple going "all-glass" in 2017, the grapevine has entirely shifted its focus from the upcoming iPhone 7 due this year to the all-glass iPhones possibly coming in 2017.
A recent unverified image has flashed up on the internet that is supposedly the concept image of iPhone 8. While the actual source of the image is unknown, it has found a place on many websites without any details. The image conforms to what Kuo has said that the new iPhone 8 design would be an all-glass affair. It seems the sleek, glossy design could be the best we have seen so far in the iPhone lineup. If the durability of the glass was anybody's concern, the glass casing looks robust made out of an advanced version of glass material. The edge of the phone shows up buttons that are most likely customizable as per the user's preference.
Moving on from the rumored image, according to MacRumors, Barclays analyst Mark Moskowitz has scooped information from the industry sources that the 2017 iPhone could be an overhauled "iPhone 8" with "significant design changes" and new features. Now it emerges that to introduce the radical iPhone 8 the Cupertino-based Apple Inc. might even bypass the "S" sequels of iPhone 7 breaking its own tradition of launching the iterations for every generation of iPhones.
The rumor is that iPhone 8 will feature an OLED display and wireless charging. A 3D Touch gesture is likely to replace the physical home button. Among the other big design changes, iPhone 8 might even feature a hi-tech wireless headphone. As for the screen size, Apple wouldn't like to go beyond the 5.5-inch screen size of iPhone 6S Plus, considering a beefy all glass iPhone 8 on its maiden outing won't be a good idea. And if the recent 4-inch iPhone SE throws up any indication, the Apple is just not ready to hop on to bigger display iPhones.
Well, the guessing game seems exciting as we don't know how much of it will actually fall into the scope of reality. As the buzz is growing about iPhone 8, get ready for a slew of leaks on the specs and features of the dream phone in coming months.
